Tina began her circus career at the age of eight when she joined the Peru Amateur Circus. She fell in love with all things circus and knew that she would someday become a professional performer. She performed for 11 years with this local youth circus.
In the summer of 1999, she met her future husband, Brian, who was working as a human cannonball at the time. She began her professional career as Brian's trigger woman (shooting him from the cannon). It was less than a year later that she convinced Brian to shoot her from the cannon. This began her cannonball career.
Brian and Tina toured the United States for the next 11 years, most notably being featured on Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Tina made appearances on the Tonight Show with Conan OBrien, The Late Show with David Letterman, and the Early Morning Show on CBS. The Washington Post, NY Post, and Good Housekeeping Magazine ran feature articles on the Miser's and their unique career.
The cannon was designed and built by her husband Brian. Tina travels 95 feet long and 40 feet high as she accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour.
When she is not performing as a Human Cannonball, Tina is the co-owner and teacher at Joyful Yoga in Peru, IN. Also, Tina is an RN and works as a Health Educator at a local hospital
Brian and Tina's daughter, Skyler, is following in their footsteps. Skyler is a performer in the Peru Amateur Circus too and says she wants to be a Human Cannonball when she grows up!
